Events & Fundraising

Every year, the Fresh Food Partnership works with volunteers, civic groups, education and nonprofit organizations, corporate sponsors, and foundations to offer educational opportunities and fundraising events. Through these activities, we:

• raise funds for fresh food purchases
• provide information on the handling and preparation of fresh foods
• public education about poverty in our region

Every spring, we hold an Empty Bowls™ fundraiser. This event helps raise funds but is also a great time to learn more about hunger in Northern Michigan and network with caring individuals. Learn more at Empty Bowls™.
